Hey, it's Hiro! Can't answer right now, so just... Leave a message. I'll get back to you when I can.

I'm sorry, Hiro, but you don't look well. Please tell me what's wrong?

[And this is the moment where Hiro seems to close up, lips pressing into a tight line, shoulders tensing.]

Nothing's wrong. Really.

[Her lips press together, and while she wouldn't normally push, something is seriously wrong.]

Fine, then you can come with me out to lunch. There's something I wanted to ask you.

[That earns a straight up frown.] I- I can't.

Maybe some other time, okay?

Why can't you, Hiro?

I... have some stuff that I'm working on. That's all.

Oh, well, then I'll come by and bring you lunch.

You really don't have to.

But I want to! It's no problem! I'll be by in just a few! See you soon!

[And she hangs up because she is doing exactly what she said. Even if you don't eat, she can at least make sure you're alright.

And why only about twenty minutes later, there is a knock at Hiro's door.]

Hirooooo-kuuuuuun! [Is only barely muffled through the door.]

Wait-- Wait, Usagi--

[And then she's gone, and his protests are lost to the void. But Hiro supposes it doesn't matter, and he just slumps back against the wall he's been sitting against and falls silent.

He doesn't even really hear when Usagi arrives. It's Baymax, who's been silently standing in his charger, that moves to answer the door for her. And he greets her with a round wave and his usual greeting.] Hello, Usagi.

Baymax! [Usagi set down the multiple bags she was holding and hugged onto the robot tight, cuddling into him.] Aaaah I missed you!

I also brought lunch! [She gestured down to the seven bags at her feet. When it involved food, Usagi could carry a metric ton if necessary.] You can help me decide what's best for Hiro right now!

[She picked up all the bags with ease, stepped across the threshold, and in a loud voice:] Hiro-kun lunch timeeee!

[Baymax pats her head gently when she embraces him, and was just about to help her with the bags when she went ahead and... scooped all of them up at once. It makes him blink once, and then he simply turns to follow her further inside.]

Hiro is: in his lab. He has not left it in: one hundred sixty-three hours and forty-two minutes.

[Whether or not Hiro hears when she arrives is a mystery. He seems to be quite "busy" sitting on the ledge by the window, staring outside with his knees drawn up near his chest.]

[Her eyes widened and the breath stilled in her lungs as she heard that Hiro hadn't left his lab in over five days. She wasted no time. She scowled and went into the lab without any announcement.

She saw Hiro, saw him with his knees drawn up and without waiting, she headed over to him and hugged him tight to her chest, practically lifting him off his seat.]

[Baymax being built the way he is means he can't keep up with Usagi when she goes charging into the lab like that. He's a good bit behind, so he can't give Hiro a heads up. Not that it'd help any.

As it is, the hug catches Hiro completely off guard, eyes widening as he suddenly finds himself wrapped up in Usagi's arms. He's pretty sure he should be trying to squirm away, but he just... can't seem to find the energy for it.]

...What're you doing?

I'm hugging you. [She frowned.] And I'm going to drag you out of this room and you are going to eat.

[She doesn't have to muster up much strength to physically lift him. She's nowhere near as strong as Makoto or Haruka in his civilian form, but Hiro wasn't exactly an effort to lift.]
